These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your download, access, subscription, purchase, and use of the Roku Remote mobile application (“App”), developed and operated by Camel Motion (“Camel Motion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
“Camel Motion” means Camel Motion and, where applicable, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and service providers.
“App” means the Roku Remote mobile application, including its features, subscriptions, updates, content, and related services.
“User,” “you,” or “your” means any person who downloads, accesses, subscribes to, purchases, or uses the App.
“Compatible Device” means a Roku streaming device, Roku-enabled television, or another device that the App may support.
Roku Remote is a mobile utility designed to help users discover, connect to, and control compatible Roku devices through a mobile phone or tablet.
Depending on compatibility, the App may provide:
The availability of individual features may depend on the Roku device, television model, firmware, network, operating system, permissions, and App version.
Roku Remote is independently developed and operated by Camel Motion.
Camel Motion is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, authorized by, certified by, or officially associated with Roku, Inc.
The App is not the official Roku mobile application.
References to Roku devices, services, channels, or technologies are used only to describe compatibility and interoperability.
Roku and related names, logos, and trademarks are the property of Roku, Inc. All other third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the App.
If you are below the age required to enter into a contract or purchase a subscription, you may use paid features only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet the applicable age and legal-capacity requirements.
The App may be available through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other authorized platforms.
By downloading, installing, updating, purchasing, or subscribing through an app store, you also agree to that app store’s terms, payment rules, subscription policies, and conditions.
Camel Motion is not responsible for app-store availability, account issues, payment-processing failures, refund decisions, download errors, or platform restrictions.
To use the App, your mobile device and Compatible Device may need to:
Some features may require microphone, speech-recognition, notification, Bluetooth, internet, or local-network permissions.
You are responsible for your device, router, network, internet connection, mobile-data charges, and third-party service fees.
You may use the App only to control devices that you own or are authorized to use.
You must not use the App to access, discover, connect to, interfere with, or control another person’s device or network without permission.
You are responsible for:
Camel Motion grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Compatible Devices may be shared by household members, guests, employees, or other users.
Remote commands sent through the App may immediately affect the selected device, including its playback, volume, power, navigation, searches, channels, or applications.
Camel Motion is not responsible for:
The App may allow you to submit keyboard input, search terms, or voice commands to a Compatible Device or third-party service.
You are responsible for the information and instructions submitted through these features.
Voice recognition, search results, and text interpretation may be inaccurate because of background noise, accents, language settings, network conditions, device limitations, or third-party services.
The App does not continuously listen to or record you in the background. Microphone access is used only when you activate a voice feature.
Camel Motion does not guarantee the accuracy of voice commands, search results, or keyboard input.
The App may include free and paid features.
The free version may contain advertisements, feature limits, usage restrictions, or reduced functionality.
Premium features may include:
Features may vary by platform, country, App version, device compatibility, promotional offer, or subscription type.
The App may offer weekly, monthly, annual, lifetime, or other premium plans where available.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Camel Motion does not directly collect or store your complete credit-card, debit-card, bank-account, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other payment credentials.
By completing a purchase, you agree to the pricing, payment terms, renewal conditions, and billing rules displayed before purchase and imposed by the applicable app store.
Prices may vary by country, currency, platform, taxes, promotion, or app-store rules.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date according to the rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription through your app-store account settings.
Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
If you cancel, premium access may continue until the end of the current billing period.
The App may offer free trials or introductory offers. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription may automatically renew at the displayed price.
Trial eligibility and duration may vary by platform, country, offer, and previous subscription history.
Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective refund policies.
Camel Motion does not control app-store refund decisions and cannot guarantee that a refund request will be approved.
To request a refund, you must contact the applicable app store through your purchase history, account settings, or official support process.
All intellectual-property rights in the App, including its software, source code, design, interface, graphics, icons, text, features, subscription systems, branding, and original content, belong to Camel Motion or its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or its materials to you.
Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, reverse engineering, publication, or commercial use may violate Camel Motion’s intellectual-property rights.
Roku products, software, services, trademarks, and content remain the property of Roku, Inc. or its licensors.
The App may interact with Roku devices, Roku services, streaming channels, app stores, analytics providers, advertising providers, speech-recognition services, subscription-management systems, and other third-party services.
Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Camel Motion does not control and is not responsible for:
Camel Motion may update, modify, restrict, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every Roku device, television, network, router, mobile device, or operating system.
Third-party updates by Roku, Apple, Google, device manufacturers, or streaming providers may affect compatibility or cause features to stop working.
You are responsible for securing your device, network, app-store account, Roku account, passwords, and connected devices.
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Camel Motion makes no express or implied warranties regarding compatibility, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, security, uninterrupted operation, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camel Motion will not be liable for damages arising from:
Where applicable law does not allow certain limitations, those limitations will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Camel Motion and its affiliates, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
Camel Motion may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, bypass security or subscription restrictions, or create legal or security risks.
Termination does not automatically cancel a subscription managed through Apple or Google.
Your use of the App is also governed by the Privacy Policy for Roku Remote.
Camel Motion may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date may be revised and additional notice may be provided where required.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, in particular, the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Mandatory consumer rights available in your country or region are not limited by these Terms.
